If it's July it must be SLC!

RSS

We are rapidly approaching that time of year when those SIM Malawi personnel who are in country prepare for the annual pilgrimage to the Kamuzu Academy just outside of Kasungu. Kamuzu Academy was founded by Malawi’s first President after Independence as ‘The Eton of Africa’.

This year we will be there from 21 to 26 July and will be looking at ‘The Challenges and Rewards of Missionary Work’ from sections of Acts with Gilbert Nigh (pictured left), who has been working for SIM Zambia since 1998. Currently he is SIM International’s Theological Education Consultant, having previously been Country Director from 2004-2010, and before that he worked in Lay-Leadership Training in local churches.

Please pray for Gilbert as he shares his thoughts with us, and pray for the SIM Malawi team as we come under God’s word in this way.

Please also pray for two young men from the UK, Ben Wildman and Dan Rushton, who will be working with the children and young people at SLC.
